A discussion based workshop for young adults aged 11-15 years old which explores the elements of ‘what makes a good story’, focusing on and developing ideas taken from books and films enjoyed by young people. Work books and writing exercises are provided to help us lead the group in the development of their own story elements, accompanied by discussions about taking photographs to illustrate their story and how to compose an image.

The second half  provides the opportunity for the group to go out and take photographs which we bring back to the workshop to edit them in the group to form a narrative.

Developed for the ‘Control’ exhibition by Miniclick as part of the Brighton Photofringe October 2016.
